Projects, Projects and more Projects

My goodness, when I went in search of a apron I decided to take on a whole new world and that was the world of quilting and sewing again.  First time quilting of course but not my first time on the sewing machine.  Here is a sample of what projects I have in store for the next month or so since some have deadlines.

1. Far left is the Coin Quilt done in Moda Soiree out of a leftover Jelly Roll
2. Second from left is A Sweet Baby Quilt in Tula Pink's Hushabye
3. Third from left on top is a Scruffily Quilt out of Moda Soiree as well, which is pieced together I just need to piece the rows then I can baste, quilt and bind and it'll be done! (This was my first quilt that I started on about a month ago now I've taken on all the rest of these)
4. Below the Scruffily Quilt is my new fabric I just received in the mail today Moda Pumpkin and Spice
and I'll be making a Crazy Eight's Quilt this one is made as a tabble topper but I just need to make more sashing and boxes and tada quilt!

5. Top left is what started all of this an apron! I cook so often on a daily basis I find myself following some recipe until I get tired of cooking then he gets the simple stuff.  But when you follow recipes man do I get dirty! So instead of buying a cute apron I ventured out to make my own.  I have had my auntie's sewing machine for over a year now.

I was only suppose to borrow it to make my curtains but then I started making little things here and there so I still had it so I figured an apron would be next.

Who knew I'd find all your fabulous blogs and start wanting to make something from each of them!!

Okay my list is still growing next
6. The red bunch of fabric I have to finish today! It's my 50's costume/poodle skirt for Halloween.
7. The fabric piles on the bottom are my dog vests I bought last year but I didn't do so great at measuring Harley so I have to make some new clothes for him to wear.  He's so tiny he gets cold!

8. Face Masks or face bandannas.  I got this idea from my bf's brother he said that when we go snowboarding it sucks because we have to wear bandannas on our faces to block the wind but he wanted some trendy ones (not his exact wording) so I thought well hey I can make those! So I bought a variety of fabrics and now I have some more to make.  I tested them out on the slopes and they do work really well along with being super cute!!  My outfits are all pink for snowboarding so I had to have a matching mask right?  See the pink bandanna on my back pocket?

And lastly this is my other pile which each of these are for my cousin's babies I got matching silly monkey fabric for the twins one in pink and one in blue.  Then little pink duckies for my cousins daughter.

WHEW! If you read all of that I think you deserve a finished product so that all this reading was worth it.  So with that this weekend and next I'll be sewing my little heart out so that I can finish them all!! As well I'm still working on my household list of things to do but more on that later.
