Busy Day Ahead

Today is the day I get to take my first machine quilting class.  They will teach me how to use my walking foot and darning foot so that I can get my machine quilting on! The class is 3 hours tonight so I won't be home till late, so I hope in those 3 hours I can figure out the darning foot because if I do I have a table topper I need to finish by this weekend (Saturday morning) that's with hand stiching the binding on so I can give it to my future mother in law lol (His family already names themselves like we're engaged) for an early Christmas present so that she can use it through the holidays! At first it was going to be a quilt but after putting it together it makes a small lap quilt so I'm going to use it instead as tabble toppers for 3 family members.

Crossing my fingers I can grasp how to do this machine quilting!
