Happy Birthday Grandpa! My boyfriend and I have been together for a little over 3 years now and his family has become my family, especially since that's our future together. His grandpa has been such a kind hearted, loving and caring man to his grandson his whole life, he's been like his father not grandpa. I lost my grandparents at a very young age and being half Chinese and having Chinese grandparents who spoke little English it was hard to establish a bond with them. Then my father's side his parents lived in Oregon so I only saw them every few months and same thing I lost them before I was 10. So these last 3 years have meant alot to me because his grandpa has been like my grandpa figure for me. Because I never got that relationship with mine.
He's the one with the little dog you'll never find him without his dogs. That one is Taco!
Since I've started dating his grandpa has been there for me a lot, giving me advice on work, life and love with the family. Even more by helping us buy our first home.
This year has been a tough one with his health and we were happy to say that he just turned 80! I've never met anyone like him in my life and I only have had such a short time with him but I hope he's here for many years to come! His family had a big party for him and his brother who is also turning 75 celebrated their birthdays together. His sister in the white had a Marine Ball with her boyfriend here she is all dressed up and might I add she starts her Basic Training for the army in January. Couldn't be more proud of her.
It was a great weekend, now we just need to get him over to see our house we have because of him!
