Have a baby shower coming up? This was the easiest thing I've done in the past few weeks and they are too lust over!! I'm sad I can't have some for myself.
Baby Onesies and Burp Cloths!! I went on the registry and found that most of her stuff she registered for were for green family colors so I picked up some cute polka dot fabric at JoAnn's I got 1/2 yard but I probably didn't even need that much because I still have leftovers but I think my job is done.
First I found an adorable tutorial of course! I printed out the templates then traced the pattern onto the fabric.
After cutting each piece out I fixed them onto fusible interfacing.
I used a 6 pack of burpies aka cloth diapers. But I didn't get a picture of onesies. Iron each item and then position each piece on the onesie. Iron on the pieces and you could technically stop here but I sewed mine on with a 1/16 stitch from edges.
Then ta da! I sat back and wished I could make more! I found the other ones the star, turtle and elephant online just looking at other onesies on Google Images and got that idea from there. But the possibilities are endless. I'm going to make a 1st Birthday one too! I wish my future baby is a girl first because I would make soooo much stuff. Oooh boy I could even start right now if I really want to get ahead!
But of course you need matching burp cloths!! Found the tutorial here at Crap I've Made. Here's the end result!!
Ah and here's the final question.
"How do you know it's time to go to bed?" No not because it's eleven. Because you step on a needle it gets stuck and you scream and wake everyone? Or you cut yourself with the rotary blade? I say combination of both.
I can't wait to see if they love these!!
