Toasty Tuesday

Ah I'm at work, working hard and multi tasking of course.  The heater at our work never works correctly it's either really cold or really hot.  Luckily today is really hot because it's cold outside.

I'm excited for the holiday break from work along with good vibes all around for the thanksgiving season.  I'm alittle fustrated though I haven't made any more progress on my table toppers.  I really wanted to have them done for Thanksgiving to give to my boyfriends mom, stepmom and my auntie as early Christmas presents.

But it doesn't look like I can get them done.  But I shouldn't say that because if I just sew non stop tonight and then all day tomorrow (since we normally leave early) I can sew all day and maybe not hand stitch the binding on and I might be able to finish them.  Eek!

I did however make progress on decorating the house. I put up 4 stands of garland, 2 wreaths with 2 more to come, lots of snowmen around the house.  I also found the stash of goodies I bought on sale after Christmas from Target! Love finding that!!

Most of my decorations of course are my mom's!! I love my mom not only because she's amazing but because she collects Department 56 houses!!

If you don't know what Department 56 is shame on you.. They are adorable and such a easy way to decorate and look fabulous at night!!

Add that to her other stash of houses before Deparment 56 came along equals an entire room full of Christmas decorations.  That's really why I haven't sewn because I can't see my sewing machine..

I'll post lots of pics when I'm done with the houses I'm going to unpack them today at lunch and hopefully get some up and running by tonight.
