Beauty Tips and Favorite Products

This is a fun post to start the weekend out with! Some beauty tips and favorite products brought to you by Kelly's Korner!

Here's my favorite things (among millions that sit in under my sink cabinet) I'm actually on a "no product buying" protest.  My cabinet is SO full of products that I literally cannot fit another single thing in there.  (Okay that's a lie, I bought more face wash the other day and I didn't realize I already had another one in the cabinet).  But seriously! I have too much! I"m trying to use everything I have but how am I suppose to do that if you all post what your favorite things are?! I have to go try some now!! Especially this Freeze It hair spray that you all are ranting and raving about!!  You can never have too much hairspray.

Okay here we go,

Hands down THE best facial cleanser I've ever had!! It removes EVERYTHING, waterproof mascara, crazy eye glue from eyelashes, EVERYTHING.  

Daily mositurizer and sun screen because I live in Sacramento, which has what seems like hundreds of hot summer days so I have to protect my skin.  I use Neutrogena's Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunscreen 70+ is what I have this is a picture of 85+ but you can't be too safe!

 

After protecting my skin I use a skin primer to get my face ready for makeup if I'm wearing any on a particular day.  Or if I really want my make up to stay on.  Mac Prep + Prime Skin just one squirt and it covers you whole face and it feels super soft too!

 Then I used to use Bare Essentials but I found that I got really oily by the end of the day so I switched it up after finding out that MAC now caries a mineral makeup.  The reason I used Bare Essentials to begin with was because MAC's foundation was clogging my pores causing massive breakouts.  So I've become a MAC user once again with these

Now onto hair products! I've been using this shampoo and conditioner for over 3 years now I swear by it, I own it in the gallon size! My aunt was a hairstylist so we get to buy everything at cost! Whooo Hooo now you know where my product obsession has stemmed from.

 

Try it your hair will be silky smooth!!

 

These long lock need detangler I don't like to buy anything expensive for this especially when Johnson's Kid's makes Strawberry flavored detangler!! 

Throw some Moroccan Oil in (it's pricey but it works miracles)

I've still been a huge fan of After-Party especially when we get a double sized one for $9 or less

Throw some rollers in these are my favorite for a quick and easy lift of curls! Or if I have some time to kill I will curl my hair with my curling iron and set the curls in pins. (If you wonder why your curls fall out it's probably because you don't set them.  Set them in alligator clips and let them set for 10 mins and they'll stay all day!)

  

Then blast you hair with some hair spray.  Kenra is my absolute favorite! But I do have some others that I use from time to time.  Shaper is one of them.

 And now that I've listed tons of things I'm off to check my hair to see if it stayed curled.  Since I didn't clip them in I'm guessing their flat by now. 

And P.S. Leigh~I'm off to Sephora today at lunch to go buy some Nars Blush in Orgasm!! Finally! That and to WalMart to pick up some Afrin because I can't breathe out of my nose! Argh!! I have to get better ASAP, we have a crab feed tomorrow!!
