Who is this He? It's Harley! Harley is too sexy for his hair, that's why it had to go. My little guy hasn't had his hair cut (formally) in 5 months, so he was due for a spa day last weekend. I've been keeping his belly trim along with his rear and around his eyes and snout. As well as giving him weekly baths his hair is human hair so it gets oily especially when he plays with his brother Drake who likes to cover him in drool (eew). But the time had finally come to have this little pooch pampered for a day.
Look at how funny his ears look! The hair on them was so long he rounded up some look a-likes.
Here's Harley ears, hair and all on our way to the groomer. He's obviously tired too, our very first time to the groomer didn't turn out so well he came home traumatized and wasn't himself for almost 3 days. So the NEW groomer we take him too said to take a long walk before hand so he won't be so full of energy. I think we did our part.. As you can tell by the tongue hanging out..

His paws were so hairy we used to tell him he had his Uggs on because you couldn't tell there were little feet under that hair.

Although now that I look at them, I think aww my little baby doesn't look like that! But his big old ears just crack me up. Especially when the hair on them made the look even bigger. That's how those look a likes came to be.
Well here he is after his day at the spa, Wag Hotel to be exact.
He reminds me of a pirate in this photo though because of that darn tooth! Having a short cut on him is so much easier, we don't have to brush his hair daily or worry about checking him after he runs around the yard for grass sticking to him or whatever else he may stumble across. We have a HUGE field next to our house (300 acres) to be exact and I'll have to show the video later but the grass on it grows to be almost 3 feet tall. Harley LOVES to jump or should I say bound through it all, which means he comes back one dirty dog. But now he can do that with ease because he's faster with all that hair gone.
By the way, if you haven't heard of Wag Hotel, they are AMAZING it was my first time going to drop Harley off and WOW it looks like a W Hotel, you can even drive you car right up to the front like a hotel does for service with bags.
If your fortunate enough to have one by your home town and for some reason need to kennel your dog or have them groomed, Wag Hotel is the place to go.
