We're Champs!

We're Champs! That's our new "short" nickname for Champagne. Because we did some serious damage this weekend (aka yesterday only) on champagne for our girlfriend's 30th birthday celebration in Lake Tahoe.

We rounded up the girls Saturday morning and headed up to Lake Tahoe for her birthday celebration. 

 We even stopped at the Welcome sign for Tahoe and took a picture :) 

Once we got there, we of course sent the birthday girl out to get snacks for the beach (aka get out so we can decorate).  She came back and found a room full of 30th birthday goodies.  

 After getting beach attire and deciding whether or not to bring all the champagne or just one bottle which of course we decided on the whole ice chest.  

 Finished one before we even left the room. Otherwise known as 8 bottles of champagne for 4 girls, we headed to the beach.

Zephyr Cove in South Lake Tahoe is the place to be when the weather is nice, so if your ever here in Tahoe during summer definitely get your buns tanned at this beach.  Who wouldn't want to when you have such beautiful scenery? 

After a few hours and 6 bottles of champagne later we headed back to the hotel to meet up with our girlfriends who arrived later and get ready for dinner and dancing.

The birthday girls favorite color is blue so we all dressed in a blue themed attire.  I once again brought my mini tripod! These things are GREAT what can I say I come prepared, no need to find a right leveled spot for your timer photos.  

 We had dinner and huge margaritas at Chevy's and then headed down to the casinos to dance the night away at Vex another hot spot in Tahoe and frankly the only place to be for dancing. 

It was such a fun weekend and easy one day trip although I was sleeping most of the day on Sunday.

The Birthday Girl

Um... Ya me and workout buddy kind of did a flex off in the bathroom.  :) Lol..We even did push ups before we went out.  It really does pop your muscles!

Fortunately the slot machines didn't take any of my money but the roulette table did.  I spent only $10 which is good because I am in love with roulette and won a lot last time I went but lady luck wasn't on my side yesterday which sucks because that would have been the whipped cream to my sundae if I won.
