t2t: My favorite rooms

 

Just in luck I just snapped photos of my house and rooms this past weekend to remind me how lucky we are to have a house to call our own.

 

These are my favorite two rooms in my house.  Well it’s sort of one room but it really is two separate sections.

 

1. My Living Room

 

We have a great room which is our living room, dining area (can’t even call it a room) and kitchen all in one.  This is what my living room looks like right now, decorated for Halloween.  I made that quilt and pillow last year when I first learned how to quilt it was my first quilt I’ve ever made.

I like to dress up my mantle as well for the seasons here it is today.

This was last weekend before I changed over to Halloween decor.  I made the Fall banner for the mantle and decorated it with fall leaves.

Then we have this entertainment center for all our TV needs.

I made those little topiaries last year!

Then this is the dining area.  We never saw the model home of our house so I have no idea how else to set up this living room. 

It’s a small but big, but weirdly situated room.  Here you can see how close together it all is.  Don’t mind my brother lounging on the couch.  Oh and my Christmas tree from 2 years ago.

 

2. My Kitchen

 

I love to cook, so I’m always in the kitchen. (That plus my other rooms are bare so you got my kitchen for my second favorite room) Here it was last year I like to move items around on the counter tops but overall still looks exactly the same.

And that is my two favorite rooms.  I also have to show you my front yard because the flowers are still alive and kicking and I added a few Halloween things!

P.S. Did you notice how my flower boarder is GIGANTIC on the right side of these photos, then the left side is tiny?! It’s because I didn’t use fresh soil on the left side and I did on the right! Pssh.. Whatever stupid flowers.. I’ll do better next year I’m just happy I know Impatients grow in Full Sun.
