My Productive Little Weekend

Happy Tuesday! Did you miss me? I have been so absent lately on blogging regularly but nothing exciting is happening around here.  I've been pretty productive lately with stuff around the house and sewing.  Here's a little snapshot of what my weekend consisted of.

Friday my honey came home from working out of town so we caught up on our shows and watched a movie then passed out on the couch as usual.

Saturday he had a number of things to catch up on as always so while he was outside finishing up stuff in the yard and around the house.  I did laundry (and folded it right after) that's big people.

Then I did these things:

I decorated for Thanksgiving

Drake and my little turkey he likes to knock over all the time with his tail.

I decorated the mantel with the fall items I already had and added my Thankful banner. 

 Harley has been quite the good little boy lately. We used to kennel him when weren't home, but he's done so well we never do anymore.  

His favorite hobby is to lounge on the couch on "his" pillow. Up till last week it had an ugly pillow cover.  I decided that I should jazz it up and make a festival one instead.  Here it is with my fall leaves and Harley he looks excited.  

Chelsea asked me in my Q & A post what my biggest pet peeve was with my honey, here it is.. 

The TOWEL! OMG I hate it when he takes the towel off and doesn't hang it back up.  So me being me, I made a towel that doesn't fall off! HAHAHA it has ties so it can't come off the rod! He was cracking up when he tried to wash his hands and move it.  NOT UH.. NOT ANYMORE BUDDY!

After making all those things for the house, I made some new fun things for myself too.

A ruffled zipper pouch, 5 in x 8 in.  Perfect for all the things I loose in my purse.

Inside some cute polka dots.

Another color combo with hot pink and flower dots.  

Then I made Amy Butlers Business Card Holder!

I needed this desperately because I have my LOL Designs business cards and my work business cards. Now they both fit in here!

Ta Da! Double Business Card Holders!  Love it!

And that folks was my weekend.  We also celebrated the 81st Birthday of my honey's grandpa! I love that he still has his grandparents around I miss mine terribly but I'm glad I have his to call my own now too!
