attack of the cookie monster..

Hi! Miss me? I missed you but I’m reading your blogs I promise! I’ve been so MIA lately but I’ve been on the rampage with local sales opportunities so I’m always out of the office!

 

But here’s what has been going on around here. Lots of decorating, lots of cooking, and shopping (yes I know! I previously said I don’t do presents but we’re in a good mood and deserve them so me and the honey are swapping presents this year!)  Whoo hoo! My tree has never had presents under it.. Sad right? But none the less special I love it with or without presents.

 

I’m a big collector of Christmas Houses! AKA Department 56 Villages! They are the cutest things out there and I wish I could leave them up all year long!  I actually don’t collect them  myself I borrow them from my mom.  She is tired of putting them out every year and was running out of space so I took them off her hands.  Voila! Christmas Villages! Including some favorites: Mickey Mouse’s Play House, Santa’s Light Shop, The Jack n The Box, Santa’s Look Out Tower and many more..

 

Let’s pretend I’m a good photographer and these are all shiny and bright.. But really I took these with my Evo so the life was sucked out of it.

That’s what is my entertainment night after night.. Some of the lights flicker too!

 

Now lets move onto what’s really been occupying my time.  This past weekend I baked 10 dozen cookies! This is some of my plates that are almost ready to be plated and delivered to my neighbors, family and friends.

Baking Much?? Here is what each plate contains:

Peanut Butter Kisses (2 Batches)

100 Good Cookies

Chocolate Krinkles

Snowballs otherwise known as Russian Tea Cookies (2 Batches)

Rice Krispie Treats

Oatmeal Butterscotch Cookies

Haystacks (Not Pictured)

Fudge (Not Pictured)

Sugar Cookies (Not Pictured)

 

Then here’s some more of my holiday decorations around the house.

This is the entry way with garland, wreath and jingle bells.. Then no flash equals  Drake looking like a black blob, I tried to make you stand out buddy but being as dark as you are doesn’t help..

Then this is our sofa table also decorated with garland.

 

And so this week I wait for the UPS man to deliver the rest of my honey’s presents, then wrap and wait for my honey to arrive home from working out of town and then we celebrate Christmas!  We headed up to Tahoe on Friday to go snowboarding and then next week back to Tahoe for 5 days to stay at the family cabin for New Years!
