If you looking to throw a similar party it's pretty easy. Ask each guest to bring a bottle or two of wine their pick, gross, yummy, cheap, expensive, bubbles, dessert etc your pick.
Then once they get there have labels made and bottle covers. We used the whole alphabet A-Z and then an AA and AB. Label each bottle with a letter, write down which bottle goes with which letter on a master list so once the wine starts flowing people forget things..
Make some score sheets with each letter with a writing space above and then give it a rating scale.

OMG i did a smiliar thing last year during christmas, i invited all my friends. They each brought a bottle of wine and i supplied the cheese and crackers!! it was so much fun, we also wrote down what we loved together, and what we did't so cool.
im also having my 2nd annual wine and cheese tasting again this year!
