"So, tell me did you keep the 80s hot tub that you had installed from your DIY thing?"
Here was the before of our hot tub.. Old "vintage" hot tub..
This was the after! It was painted and brushed looked like a whole new tub....
But unfortunately no we did not keep the hot tub. It happily lives over at my aunties house now. Reason being is that our area has crazy restrictions on hot tubs. You have to have alarm sensors on all windows and doors. The gate has to swing outward instead of inward and it has to be over 5 feet away from the house (which clearly above it totally isn't) it was like inches away. Then on top of that it's a super old tub and it's a like 120 vs. new tubs are 240 or something (energy output) so it would take forever to heat up. We had it on for 8 hours before it got hot.
So.. short answer is no we didn't keep the hot tub.

Well that my friends is a hilarious but good story. Short version is that we met through my best friend I technically should have met him like years before (we were at the same events and never were introduced) but we were at local "nice" bar lol... And I was wearing a belt that was a license plate type belt and it said SPNKME! Yes ladies it said Spank Me..
So he was introduced to me, told me that he liked my belt because it said spank me. I laughed and we had a drink or 7 and then eventually got each others info later on that summer. This was all of 5 1/2 years ago. I met him in June and then we were "together" in September. I'll do a better post on this next time..I just came across that belt while we were at my moms and we had a good laugh about it.

Tattoos - Nope I'm chicken shit. I CANNOT stand pain.. Which of course leads to the next painful question..
Do you and your hubby plan on having kids?
First Halloween Together.. In the "dater" "cupcaking" if you will phase. I just like my red highlights lol well extensions that is.. Which you can make on your own!
YES YES YES absolutely we plan on having kids. If it were up to him he would have knocked me up the minute he met me LOL. He's older than me by 6 years not too bad but he says his clock is ticking. But I want to be married before I get knocked up so that's that. But they are hopefully going to be cute little suckers!
Lindsay asked "When's the wedding? How's the planning going?
Right now the wedding plans are on HOLD! But with good reason, my fiance is in the Fire Academy and is graduating on Mother's Day. We have it in the works that we'll get married next April 2013. But for some reason I like funny dates like 11-12-13 lol. That just gave me an idea! I'll post more about the plans later. I was literally about to purchase the wedding packages (destination wedding) but then he got in the academy so we put it on hold. Too much to plan while he has to invest so much time to being the best future firemen he can be!!
Okay final question - the next few questions we're all wedding related so I'll post on that in a seperate post.

I am TOTALLY lagging on posting photos and even using the Canon Rebel T2i I purchased I want to take a class on how to properly use it but really it just comes down to me actually using it more often!
whats your favorite lens?
I LOVE the 50mm 1/8 it's only $99 bucks and it's sooooooo worth it... I took this photo of my fur baby with it
it creates the "bokeh" effect with the blurred background.. If you don't have this lens get it!
have people noticed you from the show?
HA! Nooooo but it did however happen to my fiance. One of the firemen at his academy actually was watching the show with his wife and he was like "HEY! He's in my academy" so ya he was recognized which was funny since it was from the academy. I always think when I'm at 24 hour (they have DIY network) and what if my episode came on lol.
do you see the other people from the show ever?
Yes I see lots of people from the show... But that's because we have a little "DIY Family" so to speak and it really is a pretty close knit group, we help out with other shows if needed and we throw down some awesome parties!
