Oh Costa Maya - One of the best days by far of the trip. Why?
Because I FINALLY got to go to a beach to tan, eat and drink ALL day long!
I was so lucky to meet this group of friends that traveled together that graciously said I could come and join them that day and every day after that pretty much..

A $4 dollar taxi ride to the beach and $30 or $40 bucks later it was time to tan and relax!

Jeff and I went kayaking out to a reef and sunken sailboat and snorkeled
for about an hour. We hadn't realized it but our kayak floated off in
the distance and some federal police guy came back and rowed it over to
us.

We proceeded to take a roadie and a shot to go.. Then when we got back to port we dove into the swim up bar and drank more..

So every day the boat has a "return" time that you have to be on the ship by. Well after we got to the swim up bar we ended up not getting to the ship until 4:50 pm maybe. Yes do the math.. That's 20 minutes past last call.
They paged my mom in the room asking if Jennifer was on the ship. She was of course panicked and was calling everywhere trying to find out where I was. Jeff's friends said if we missed the ship they knew he'd find a way to the next port to get back on the boat. Hilarious.. To think if that really would have happened!
Yup this was taken at about 4:45... I was told that the guests on the balcony's were clapping and cheering for us when we arrived because we were the last 5 people to return on ship.
We did as anyone would do.. Got on board.. Headed straight to the bar for more tequila shots and hot tub action!

Costaaaaa MAyaaaa!!! Why is this port so awesome?! We had a similar experience here! We barely made it back to the boat (not as late you though.. ;) ) and also drank WAY too much at the swim up bar. We basically spent the whole day @ Senor Frogs doing shots and singing songs.
Thank goodness you made it back to the boat!!!!! I would have freaked! It looks like it was such a great time!
