I went on a spectacular vacation for 10 days back in the beginning of December.
It was my mom, auntie and uncle and myself. We had a BALL!
We high tailed it out of Sacramento early in the morning on Thursday with a connection in Houston, TX to make it to Tampa, Florida at about 6pm that night.
Welcome to the land of GORGEOUS beaches and FANTASTIC weather!
Why do I live in California again??
We got in late on Thursday night so we pretty much just played bums and hung out in the hotel.
Let's not kid ourselves.. Embassy Suites has a free happy hour. I drank and they went to the hotel room.
Friday we headed off to check out these beaches.. Oh did I fall in LOVE!!

Then they have those little things you can rent! I was devastated I didn't have a bikini on so that my family could leave me there all day.

The next day we went south of Tampa to Sarasota and some other places..
Ate lunch at the Columbia restaurant. Loved it I belong in Florida.. It was December.. I was in tank top and shorts sipping mojitos on the sidewalks watching all these cute trendy peeps with their dogs walk by.
We had a cuban and their famous salad.. Was okay.. I wasn't too impressed by the cuban sandwiches.
Went to Lido Beach after shopping around and eating to watch the sunset!
Bless my mom for taking me on this trip! She didn't think I was going to come. It was a last minute surprise that I joined!

Looks like a fun trip. You made me want to go to the beach. I grew up in Clearwater. Now we're an hour away and I can't tell you the last time we've been down that way.
