Happy Sunday!

I sadly caught a cold at the end of this past week so I have been in bed all day yesterday with a brief trip outing for dinner with my mommy at Spaghetti Factory at night.

Then today I feel alittle bit better but basically I'm still a walking zombie.  I haven't showered and my mom has decided to get some major remodels done on the house today so there are people everywhere.

But I finally hung up all my clothes from the past two weeks and basically unpacked from LA which was 2 weeks ago.  Whoops!

Sunday Social

1. Best Valentines Day you’ve ever had:
The one that sticks out to me is when my best friend Lindsey randomly called me and told me she bought a keg.  Her parents were out of town so we cooked each other fried rice and potstickers and then tried to do keg stands with just the two of us.

Nothing beats a Valentines day with a girlfriend.   P.S. the keg stand on your own doesn't work. It's really a three person process.  One to hold the handle and pump and then the other two to hold your legs.   But the refrigerator successfully worked as a teammate for our legs.

We later left for burritos and her step sister and her friends stole our keg and so we had some recon work to get it back to finish our party.

2. Worst Valentines you've ever had:
That fabulous ex-fiance of mine-this Valentine's decided it would be good to return some of my belongings to me so he dropped them off which was much appreciated but then left me all the letters, notes, crafts, pictures that I ever gave him.  That made it for a shitty morning finding those.

But fear not I actually had a bigger surprise waiting for me that afternoon that turned my frown the other way around. Which leads us to this year...

3. What did you do for Valentines this year:
This Valentine's I was awoken with a sweet text message and link to my favorite Mariah Carey song..

Went to work and left for lunch to come back to work and found a beautiful delivery of flowers awaiting for me.  Best surprise! I love love loved the surprise..  Wasn't expecting them because I didn't want to get my hopes up.  But I really was so very glad they did come!! It brightened up my whole day! I had a happy cry...

Later that evening Rosie and I went to Happy Hour where we had pretzels, beer and sausages! Spent some fun girl time together and headed on our seperate ways.

4. Best Valentines idea if you single:
Hang with your girlfriends if you have single ones.  Family or friends! Everyone needs love and friendship in their lives so enjoy it.  Go buy yourself something... I bought 4 pairs of shoes on Wednesday and then I was going to buy myself some flowers as well but luckily that came from someone special instead.

5. Favorite Valentines candy:
I am not a big chocolate person.  Yes I'm a girl and I said that.  I prefer sour candy.  My old boss used to give See's Sour Candy Chew Hearts out to the staff on Valentines and those were always yummy!

6. Favorite Valentines memory from your childhood:
Making Valentines and passing them out in class when we were super young and then candy grams in junior high and high school were always fun too.  Sometimes you'd find out if you had a secret crush!

Go link up with Neely and Ashley!

Hope everyone has a good Sunday and President's Day if you have it off..

I'm resting for the next few hours and then heading to church to hear Chris Brown speak at our Sunday evening service.  Which can I tell you is the most convenient thing ever!! My dad and I go to dinner and then to the service perfect outing and you still get to do all the early morning things instead of waking up early to go.

Church was one of the things I made a resolution about for the New Year, to develop my relationship with God and I'm glad that it's finally beginning!  I think this church is perfect for me and I couldn't be happier!
