Yesterday my iPhone crashed while installing the update....
Insert complete PANIC! I didn't want to loose all my precious text messages..
There were some sweet texts in there that I couldn't see living with out..But would have if it came down to it..
I already backed up my photos yesterday morning due to no memory to install the update..
Then I install it and this screen pops up..
With me moving out my "backup iTunes" account is back with my ex.. No bueno.. Back that sh*t up ladies..
So I panicked.. I installed iTunes on my computer and it wanted to wipe the slate clean to factory settings!! AAAAH..
Thankfully the Genius at Apple was able to solve my problem..
They talked me off the ledge after seeing that my phone was completely restored and I didn't loose anything.
So... Then I started to look at all things shiny and pretty at Apple.
Which brings me to my big question and debate today...
I've never owned anything Apple other than my iPhone.
I'm a CTRL+ALT+DELETE person to the core..
BUT I am big on fancy gadgets and I've played on MacBooks before and they are just so dang snazzy.
Not to mention then my iPhone will be twins with a MacBook..
So I want to ask you bloggers..
Apple or PC?
Questions:
If you have made the switch to a Apple from PC was it SUPER hard to adjust?
What can a PC do that an Apple can't and vice versa?
Do you have issues with your Apple at all?
What kind of Apple do you have?
I was contemplating the MacBook Air or MacBook Pro..
My use of computers:
I'm mainly using it for photos storage and editing which I know they are faster for..
Blogging of course since I've been so good on it lately...
I really want to make snazzy video recaps of my weekends.. Random but true..
Then of course from time to time I'll be using it to write documents for work etc.
So HELP me.. What are your thoughts??
Apple or PC??

13 Lovely Notes:
I have been tempted to make the switch too! :) So glad you were able to save everything on your phone! I'd freak too!
I am up in the air about this topic as I use both MAC and PC for various reasons...at work we are all supplied with an iPad and iPhone but all of our computers are Dell. Personally I think Dell's are junk BUT at home we have an HP desktop and a Sony Vizio laptop which both work awesome. My personal cell phone is the Samsung Galaxy 3 which I do prefer over the iphone only because I don't have to do any updates, syncing, etc. The phone pretty much does all that auntomatically. With my work ipad and iphone I feel like I have to constantly plug it in to do software updates, back ups, etc. (but that may be because of work security, etc.). So yeah...if I didn't have the ipad and iphone that my work provided me with I wouldn't have purchased them on my own so I guess you could say I lean more towards PC? Not helpful at all...I know...:)
I am an Apple person all the way! I made the switch back in 2008 and never want to go back! (except my work computer is a PC) In my experience, it does make it more seamless with my iPhone, but I have never had any virus issues, nothing running slow, etc. Also, I love their iPhoto software that comes on the computer. You can just insert your memory card and it automatically pulls up and you can upload your photos, edit them, create collages, and more. Transition to a mac isn't too bad, takes maybe a week or so but its fantastic!
APPLE ALL THE WAY!!!! Once you go Mac I PROMISE you will never look back!!!! They are so much better.
Theres a learning period but everything is SO easy and they NEVER break!! Ive had him for years and its NEVER been to the shop!! No viruses and they have a great photo editing program that comes standard!!!
I PROMISE MAC is the way to go! And no I dont work for Apple!! hahah
Apple Apple Apple....
Especially since you have an iphone. and you can actually run a virtual windows machine on your mac if need be. though now all software runs on both.
oh and no viruses! like ever! how sweet is that. you never have to worry about those norton/macafee updates and such.
iLife has great photo software, movie editing software and iCloud stores everything seamlessly on all your devices!
DEFINITELY APPLE!
Since you have an iPhone, having a Macbook definitely is makes doing stuff between devices a piece of cake.
I used to work for Apple doing technical support for about 1 year. I fell in love, and ended up buying a Macbook. To me, it was easy to learn and in fact, I think they are SO much easier than a PC. I can't stand to use a PC now.
I've had this one since April 2009, and NEVER had a problem with it. When I had a PC, I was getting a new computer every year to year and a half.
I wouldn't get a Macbook Air, because they don't have an optical drive. I would get the Macbook Pro!
I had a PC for the longest time and when it crashed out, I needed a computer ASAP. I bought a used Macbook off of a friend, and I like it. But, I'm still learning. I think it's very hard to learn everything all over again but at the same time I am not at all computer savvy!
I like to think I'm a Mac girl in a PC girls body ahaha. And by that I mean that I've always been a PC girl and just haven't had the funds to get all MAC'd up yet. I'd love an iphone but I already have a phone that is perfectly fine so I can't justify it...yet. aha.
Glad I found your blog. I've never met another blogger form west sac. im not actually from there but i travel between there and the east coast of canada to be with my bf (i know, a bit much lol). very cool! west sac bloggers for life. lol

I was totally in your boat this time last year. Used a PC my whole like and my only apple products were my phone and ipad. I went MacBook Pro and LOVE it. But there was a time where I wanted to through it against the wall and go by a PC. There is a learning curve...as long as you're willing to work through it for a few months...you'll get the hang of it and love it too. Also, take a class at the apple store...that really helped.
I switched to Mac in 2007 and have never looked back. It's been the best thing! The only thing I really hate is having to deal with all the upgrades to software. BUT to me it's definitely worth it.
I've always been a PC because that's what I use for work and I don't like switching. I've had my android phone for a while now and haven't had any complaints. I'm all about Google and it's nice they are set up to work with all my google accounts.
{love jenny xoxo}
That crashing thing happened to my iPad last week and I lost everything :(
