Day 10, Friday: Most embarrassing moment. Spill

Taking you back to the Fall of 2001.  I was a senior in high school graduating class of 2002 to be exact.  I was also on the varsity cheerleading squad.

For homecoming week we practiced and practiced and practiced our homecoming rally dance.  I had it nailed down.  The dance, the basket toss, my hair and outfit.

Since we were seniors we wore red socks (class color) and I had red soccer socks on with my white cheer outfit.

We have the WHOLE school auditorium PACKED to the brim during school hours for the rally.  We have the local radio station DJ emceeing it and he announces the cheerleaders.

The other girl who was a senior on the squad and I decided to do a tumbling pass as our entry into the gym.  Well it was ONLY me and her doing the tumbling.  She nailed her tumbling pass..

Me.. Not so much..  I ATE SHIT!

Full out ate it.. I landed the flip then slowly felt myself tipping over.  My flip awesome.. My landing NOT…

We were the only two people on the floor and I fell over and the DJ goes “Ooh girl watch out the floor is slippery right there” Um ya thanks DUDE.. The whole gym and my peers just BUST up laughing at me.

I shook it off got up and laughed at myself and continued onward for the dance.

My senior yearbook comes out.. My cheer friend was asked what was the most memorable part of being on the squad this year? “When Jenn fell in front of the whole school at the homecoming rally.”

Then years after that my cousin in a different high school than me asks me one day “Hey did you fall at a rally or something one time at Kennedy?” WHAT? How do you know about this!?

EMBARRASSING!!

Day 11, Saturday: Sell yourself in 10 words or less

I am awesome, I love hugs and laughing and you!

Day 12, Sunday: What do you miss? (a person, a thing, a place, a time in your life…)

College! No schedule.. Okay well a school schedule.  But you could skip it and not have to tell anyone just a friend in the class so you can get their notes.  Living on my own having FUN every day.  Margarita Mondays, Taco Tuesdays,  Well Wednesdays, Thirsty Thursdays, Finally Friday, Not so sober Saturday, Sunday Funday.

I kid.. Kinda.. I at least had 4 days of the week or more that we were out having fun enjoying the city in SF and all it has to offer.

I listened to some mix CD’s on Sunday and they took me WAYYYY back..

Here’s some of the songs that were on my playlists.   My brother said WOW those were OLD school.

K and I'm SUPER behind on this so just posting away right now :)
