{sunflower sundays}

It's always a good time when my bestie comes to visit me in Sacramento.  It will always consist of tanning, drinking, eating and EXERCISING!??!?

Well exercising was a first for us but it felt great!

Then of course some type of photo activity.  Yes a photo activity...

So you have your standard photos while enjoying the day..

I broke out CD's from college which of course I had these two titled - Wendy's Booty Shakin Music and Jens Dance Mix.  Classic if you ask me..

The Booty Shakin Music was by far the best mix tape/cd that I've heard in awhile.
We'll be bringing that with us to LA for her bachelorette.

So we just sat around swimming and enjoying cocktails.

Then we got ready and headed out for the night
which of course is your standard going out photos..
My mom and Wendy - which of course Wendy looks more like my mom's daughter than me..
 Me and Momma
Besties back in action for the 3rd weekend in a row!
New shoes from MJM Shoes have you been there? If you have one in your neck of the woods GO they were $14.99 for those and are so cute! I may have bought 5 new pairs of shoes last week.

We headed out for a friends birthday themed in 90s attire..
We were too beat from suntanning all day to get an outfit.. But these girls rocked it!
This cake was so cool it was a Nintendo cake!
Of course Ring Pops made an appearance totally 90's!
There my rock is bigger than hers.  Um hello gorgeous ring?! She is one lucky girl!
Then after a brief stop at the birthday party we went to Dive Bar in Sacramento where you can see real life mermaids! They captured them and put them in a tank in a bar in Sacramento! Who knew? :)

We proceeded to dance and laugh the night away afterwards.

Sunday we got in our Sunday best to go meet Miss Tracy and Andie for breakfast! OMGee she is soooo adorable!  It was so nice to catch up and see Tracy again!

Then of course this is where Sunflower Sunday comes into play.  We wrapped up lunch and then headed over to Michael's to grab some wedding things for Wendy and then decided we have to go take pictures in the sunflower fields in Sacramento!
Sunflowers for miles and miles.  Apparently Sacramento makes up 90% of the sunflower growth in the nation and it supplies sunflowers for foreign producers.

So what better way to use that production of sunflowers than to go take photos in them!

We then of course did what any pair of best friends would do - an outfit change in the middle of nowhere.
She had her other dress with her and I wanted hers.  So we swapped!

After our photo schenanigans we ended the day with an In N Out Buger protein burger and then dropped her off to catch her ride back to the city.

Perfect little weekend if ya ask me!
