{29 and feeling fine}

Go girl.. It's yo BIRTHDAY! 

Tis true! I turned 29 this past Friday! September 27th and the countdown to 30 has begun!

I had quite a whirlwind week here with some ups and downs but overall it ended up being okay.  Everything happens for a reason! But really some things just have shitty timing but moving on..

The weekend prior to my actual birthday my best friend Wendy came to town and we had a girls day.  It was supposed to be a pool party day with friends but random weather detered us from that and then for other reasons most everyone couldn't make it.  

Sad but true, but nothing is better than Jen and Wen time! 

We went shopping and did some usual damage and she gave me my spectacular birthday present! 2 Kate Spade Purses! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

And I also have sassy but I don't have a pic of her yet..

She also got me a inspiration journal where I can start to put together visions of what I want in life! 

Along with the journal she gave me a book she got before she turned 30.  So we've officially started a tradition of passing on the knowledge from this book...30 Things a Girl Should Have and Should Know by the Time She's 30.

I started reading it and haven't been able to put it down.  It's a great little book and a quick read.  I'm going to give it to my girlfriend in a month when she turns 29 so she can "prepare" for 30 too!

After a day of shopping and redeeming my birthday store coupons we picked up some lunch and then headed home to rest and get ready for a friends pub crawl.

The bear apparently had been on all three bar crawls so far

 Whoops.. Sorry bear..

 I ordered vodka water with lots of lemon and I got just that.. Lots of LEMON..

Stop number 4 was to Streets of London

 Then over to some other bar don't even remember the name..

 Found some nice street tags with Honey on it..

 The over to the Merchantile where they offered us Single, Double or Triples for our cocktails.. Oh dear..

 Then he was hungry and had a burrito by Lindsey who hoards burritos in her purse? With hot sauce!

We tried to get into Press Club but they were charging cover fees so we went over to Alley Cats where we almost lost the bear.  Had to give him CPR.. 

And that's about when we called ourselves as taxi and high tailed it home to get munchies and pass out.  But not before calling my mom to come and pick Wendy and I up! Ha!   We missed out on the last 3 bars but we went to plenty..

So this was all just the pre-birthday festivities! Since my actual birthday wasn't until the following Friday.

On my actual birthday I went to lunch with my family

 That's my momma and yes we're matching in polka dots.. Lol..  And yes my mom also bought me that dress.. HA!

Then later that evening we had a work function for our boss who is leaving! :(

Afterwards me and some girls went to dinner then I met up with a friend and went bar hopping all night long!
