This was our 2nd Halloween in our new home, but our first time carving pumpkins together just me and my bf. I almost didn't find any pumpkins can you believe that? I went to two grocery stores before finding a batch of them. We have a local pumpkin patch near our house but with the time left in daylight when we get home we didn't get a chance to go this year. Here's us carving the pumpkins. I didn't get any photos of myself but I would be on top of the counter looking like a monkey using my feet to hold the pumpkin. It's a skill I've used for years. Lol..

Here's my finished creation! When I was little my mom and I used to carve about 10 pumpkins for our little family of 4. Don't ya love the ears? My mom's signature move that I've retained.
I accidentally carved out his whole mouth without any bottom teeth! Whoops! Did you know if you want to have your pumpkins last longer you should give them a water bath every night? I used our spare bathroom with the tub to soak mine every night. But we used to use the kitchen sink.
