I had SUCH a fun day today! Because we saw hundreds of these beauties!
My best friend and old room mate in college Wendy called and told me about Daffodil Hill she learned about from a News10 viewer. Well we just had to go check it out for ourselves and have a sundress photo filled day. So after I finished my spin class this morning at 9 I primped and prepped for our picture op day.
Here's the history behind Daffodil Hill.
In 1887, after coming west from New York and Ohio, Arthur and his wife, Lizzie, began to plant the first daffodil bulbs in their spare time. The bulbs have since been lovingly nurtured.
300,000 bulbs of beauty.
More bulbs are added each year, with the help of private donations. Today, the bulbs number more that 300,000 and include not only 300 varieties of daffodils, but also a large number of other varieties of bulbs and flowers, as well.
It's a farm that these loving people have gained lots of attraction for. Parking is free and so is walking through the beautiful fields.
And what a beautiful display of Spring with hundreds of thousands of daffodils!
We were totally team photo op. We had this bad boy on timer mode! Sundeep even found a tree branch to hang his camera from and take a timer photo! Do you totally do this too?
It's so much fun to have girls days, we laugh about our old ways and the trouble we caused in San Francisco living together. Like we all say, wow that was fun in college, wish we could go back, but we really probably couldn't put ourselves through it all over again.
Jenn and Wen~Wouldn't have changed it for the world.

Before I left the house I had white heels on, I was walking out my boyfriend thought I was crazy which he was right so I switched to my flip flops. He said your walking around on a field, in heels.
It was such a nice day to get away with these two. We all went to college together Sundeep's sister Parveen was in Alpha Gamma Delta with us too. She was already and alum by the time I joined but we always went out on the town together. I had class with Sundeep during the summer and we had to anchor together for our media class.
We stopped and had lunch at a cute little parlor in town, then of course had to have some ice cream! It was such a cute little quaint town. We are going to try to do this every month and go on a new adventure. You have to love a good day out for only $20 we all spent combined! Plus gas, lots of laughs and memories.
I had to snap a photo of this steakhouse sign, it said J & D's Steakhouse
Happy Saturday! I'm off to go make a jewelry holder! Oh yes! It's craft time!

Hey, thanks for your comment on my blog! D.I. is basically the same thing as goodwill. It's called Deseret Industries and people just donate all their things to it and then we get to buy it! It's got everything, I swear! Too bad you guys don't have one out there. They are really only in Utah I think. But anyway, great pictures you got! I totally think you look like Reese Witherspoon! You are so pretty! Haha. I added you to my follow list. Can't wait to see your jewelry holder!

what a pretty place! I love daffodils. In Carlsbad, north of San Diego, they have a place very similar to that, with thousands of colorful flowers. not sure what they are, but it is quite a sight to see!!
