Jenn's Britney Hairstyle How To and Giveaway

Jenn's "Britney" Hair

Okay ladies this is big, I've never done a video of myself except for class projects.  Now I'm about to expose myself to the world! But it's for a good cause because I got tons of comments on my hairstyle especially the curly hair look which I call my "Britney" hairstyle.  This isn't the first time I've been asked by tons of friends, co workers and girlfriends how I style my hair and how I make it look this way so here it is!

Special Conditions Apply See Below:

1. Bare with me this is my first video, so I blab a lot and you probably can't hear me sometimes.  That's where Dustin comes in and should tell me to speak up.
2. I should have probably been closer to the camera but you get the idea of how this is done.
3. Sorry about the bad quality of picture, I was using my "snazzy" camera which means it should have been better but I don't know what happened. I was antsy and wanted to post this so maybe I'll re do it better because you might not be able to see what I'm actually doing.
4. I'm going to do a giveaway for Sebastian Shaper Plus Hair Spray! See rules below.
4. Sorry it was so long... I didn't know I blab teach amazing tutorials in long amounts of time.  But 15 minutes and your off to a beautiful new do'
5. The other #1 Hairspray I was referring to is Kenra Volume Spray 25, but the Sebastian Shaper Plus is just as good.
6. I'm really sorry about the bad quality of video. Lol.. I could post that again as number 7.
7. ENJOY!

I love your hair :-)

I always curl my hair the same way. My friend and I learned to do it like the like 5 years ago lol..

Great how to video for beginners!

My fav. hair tip?

Using baby powder sprinkled in your brush to get rid of oil and allows you to skip a day of washing :-)

Oh, cute! I love curls. Yours look great!

I am a follower, as you know... :)

Favorite hair tip? Hmmmmm...switch your part every once and a while for a "whole new look." I have always parted my hair so the bulk of it was on my right side, and I recently switched it the other way, and I feel like I got a new 'do. So lame and simple, but easy for someone like me who is ALWAYS doing something new to her hair in terms of color...this is less damaging. ;)

I also like the previous commenter's tip, too, though, and I'm all about the baby powder. ;)

Adorable video!! Love the tips! And I'm a follower :)

My favorite hair tip...straight from the hairdressers mouth...don't wash everyday!! I love this because it saves time and its true that the curls always look good the second day, just a little touch-up and you're good to go!

Your hair looks and is SUPER amazing!! I loved the video, and I have my maternity shoot on Sunday I am going to try and do this for!!

I am definitely a follower!

My favorite hair tip - When I need to quickly get out the door and just scrunch it. I do moose and spray, I just use my hands and put the product in wet hair. And to get it to dry the best I use a towel to scrunch it and it usually ends up looking better!

Great video, Jenn! I loved it!! I cut all my hair off last Summer "(13 inches) and donated it to Locks of Love! I don't regret it, however, I miss doing my hair like yours!!

that's exactly how I curl my hair too! start at the root before pulling through. I've done it that way for years!

Okay so I love your video & it's so funny to actually hear you speak and not just IM!! I'm obviously a follower. My favorite hair tip would be to do a scrunched hair bun, so it's a little messy around the crown and not so neat and tight all the time!! I use gel/mousse whatever I have and hair spray & then when it dries, I loosely collect it and through it in a slightly to the side bun!

Great giveaway girl (: loveee it

New follower... love your blog and loved the video! You should do more, fitness and beauty related!

Hair tip- When curling hair, spray Redken Fabricate on your hair and brush through before curling. It really holds and helps curl the hair without feeling crunchy!

LOVE THIS! Thanks so much for sharing!! I curl my hair the same way....except I spray a tad of hairspray all over before I curl. :)

Aww, I watched the whole thing and loved it!! What a fun tutorial!! My hair used to be just as long as yours and for a split second I was all, "I'm going to go try it RIGHT NOW!"... of course now it's to my chin, so I really can't curl like that now, haha! Or do you think I could modify it and at least try? Who knows! ;-)

Anyways, thanks for the nice giveaway! I'm a follower :-)

And my favorite hair tip is to blast a bit of cold water at the end of your shower on your hair (if you can stand the coldness ;-)) to give it a bit more shine!

I tried to do my hair like yours (via the tutorial) it did NOT turn out as well as I had hoped for! I brought the computer into the bathroom so I could watch the video haha, my hubs was judging!

Great video! I love the curled look, but with my shorter hair, I always have trouble in the back.

My favorite hair tip...I don't know about a tip, but as for product...Rockaholic Dry Shampoo. Works like Baby Powder without the white mess that comes with BP. I have thin hair so this stuff is my bff!

Thanks for sharing, oh and I'm already a follower!

Your hair looks fab!!

My hair tip: I use Frederic Fakkai Clarifying shampoo once a week. It makes my hair so shiny and soft!

My hair tip, hmm, I would have to say, for my hair at least, only use conditioner at the hair line and ends of hair. It keep my hair line not so dry and also makes my hair shiny. (My hair line tends to be dry.)
