Food Intake

It's June 4th and I've been exercising for almost 5 months STRAIGHT with only two weekends I can think of that I didn't work out at least once. Meaning I didn't get my 6 days of working out in.  Last weekend being one of them.  Well the workouts are all fine and dandy I tell ya but the real problems start and end with food intake.
It's a mean world out there with ingredients like high fructose corn syrup, sugar, carbs, more corn syrup.  I've been trying my best to eat healthy but sometimes it's just too much! Which means I see it in the scale but I'm not really feeling it on my body, which has it's upsides and downsides.
**Speaking of High Fructose Corn Syrup - Did you know my FAVORITE condiment is KETCHUP and BBQ Sauce? And guess what Ketchup and BBQ sauce is made from??!?!** Yup that's right high fructose corn syrup.  I tried to stay away but it didn't work :(

Well aside from (HFCS) trying to make it's way on my plate, aunt flow is coming to visit, which means I've been eating bad all week.  I talked myself into a McDouble at McDonald's the other day because I wanted one gosh darn it (I almost added a Sundae but I got a parfait instead).  I mean they make it easy on you though the bill was only like $2!! Seesh!

All of these amounts to me trying to stay full and not hungry...
So to kick hungry's butt what really helps me is the Weight Watcher's Smart Ones!!

These are my ultimate favorite thing to eat day in and day out. Aside from a McDouble it's the onions I love them and the bun.. K back on track.. Smart Ones' are SOOOOO easy because the food is all healthy options! it's based on the WW point system too (which I don't follow but I do know how much I am allowed to have) but most importantly I can still have the things I crave.

Macaroni & Cheese, Enchiladas, Fettuccine Alfredo, Lasagna, Noodles Galore!

Let's also remember that all of these are pretty much at 300 calories EACH!
That's it and you get a delicious lunch or dinner within 3 minutes!!

Let's not forget about the more important things..
Which are ICE CREAM AND COOKIES!!
O-M-G.. Can you see my mouth on the floor? These are SOOOOO delicious it's too good to be true! I demand you go to the store and buy some right now.  I have like 3 boxes of desserts from WW in my freezer right now.  While my honey enjoys his root beer float I have a WW ice cream dessert.

Aside from dessert I also always want Egg McMuffin's well hello they solve that problem for me too.  They even have breakfast meals!  Now the only thing is that where ever your shopping you will never find a price cheaper than at Wal-Mart.  I know some of you might have a love hate relationship with Wally Mart but they are all under $2 at my local Wal Mart compared to the other grocery stores they are listed at like $4-5 each.  You bet your tush I'm headed to Wal Mart at lunch for a restocking of my freezer on these items.

So what's your favorite WW Smart One's meal if your already enjoy the yummy healthy goodness? If you haven't you should asap. They really make it far to easy because you can pair the entrees with salads too and you'll be so full you won't know what hit ya.

I eat SmartOnes or LeanCuisines for lunch almost everyday - it's so much easier than packing a lunch, and I have been saving lots of money by NOT going out to lunch!

A couple months ago I went on a big kick to cut out high fructose corn syrup. It is insane how much stuff it's in! Bread, wheat thins, cereal bars, honey mustard, the list goes on! Luckily, I was able to find a lot of good alternatives - most are Kashi products.

I love SmartOnes too, and am a new fan of the Healthy Choice Natural frozen meals - very yummy!

WOW!!! 6 days a week!! That is impressive! I'm lucky if I make it 2x lately... not good!

I haven't tried any of the smart ones... do they make any that are vegan?

Keep up the good work! You're motivating me to get to the gym more!

congrats on hitting the gym hard :) you look great in all the pictures you've posted!

I never buy diet desserts but I always look at them on the ice cream aisle and debate about them because they look so good lol.

Have a great weekend!

hey! thank you so much for stopping by. Sorry I have not commented before - definitely meant to! So happy you posted this - I went straight to the store after work and bought me a few. I love smart ones way better than lean cuisines...my fav = 3 cheese baked ziti. Is that breakfast sandwich any good?

I love smartone's too but the sodium kills me! that, and the perservatives. But I still eat them because they're so quick and easy and as you said, way better then fast food! (but no yummier haha)
