Whew! It’s Tuesday! Love 4 day weekends don’t you? Alot of 1st this weekend for our little family. It was my first time trailer camping! Which also means it was our first time camping together in a trailer with the dogs!
Harley’s first time for everything camping which went over rather smoothly until we started the fire. Apparently he doesn’t do fires or smoke so we’ll have to get him used to that.

(I made my honey a cover for the middle seat in his truck since Harley likes to sit there during car rides now he won’t scratch it up, I was pretty proud of myself the way it turned out)
He doesn’t look so excited here but I promise you he is. Before we left he would hop into the trailer and then would come inside and PACE back and forth because he was so anxious to go and not get left behind.
We’ve ARRIVED! We set everything up and put twinkle lights up, we were going for the super white trash look, so we threw in some random colored light bulbs! I have the biggest pet peeve over color lights but while camping they are okay.
It was a rather awesome set up if you ask me. My honey has been working out of town so he brought back this YUMMY marinated chicken from a spanish grocery store so we made burritos! The joys of trailer camping already becoming apparent!
Me and my little guy in the trailer! It’s a 19 ft. trailer and it worked pretty well for the four of us. Although when Drake is panting or just breathing in general the trailer shakes. Which made it rather hard to play Jenga at times.

Dinner time! YUMMY burritos! But too bad I forgot my bottle of booze so all I had was a bottle of champagne and nothing else. Needless to say I finished the bottle within a day.
Perfect caption for this would be, “We’re eating in the wilderness! We’re eating in the wilderness!!”.
We recently stopped adding in wet food to Drake’s food and he was on a protest at home but out in the wild he wouldn’t stop eating. Strange boy he is he, then Harley was the exact opposite he didn’t want to eat. Probably too excited!

There was a big clearing where a BUNCH of trailers were, we should have camped there!
We of course did some fishing.. Which resulted in TONS OF SNAGS! I’m going on protest that fish either A) Don’t want to be my dinner or B) Don’t like my worms or singing that I entice them with.
So instead of fish being our dinner we had yummy turkey burgers!
Rather delicious don’t ya say? Yummy! And of course I’m rocking my LOL Designs headbands!

That was pretty much Harley’s post most of the trip waiting for treats and a possible scrap food which we don’t usually do but he’s too cute not to give some. Especially when he’s sitting at the table!
That was the trip! Pretty easy going weekend which I much needed! And of course seeing how Harley would like his first trip camping!
Pretty sure he liked it by the way he is smiling he was exhausted as was Drake.

The honey’s birthday is Sunday! I need ideas on what to get him.. I’m thinking about possibly getting his truck nerf bars since I have to get a running start to get in. Or gift certificates to golfing places or just a nice dinner at home..
Any suggestions?

you look absolutely adorable for camping! and the turkey burgers look awesome! we switched over to only turkey about 6 months ago and i love to see other people doing the same.
