surprise love my honey

My honey pulled a quick one on me on Monday.He usually works out of town, so the usual Sunday was in store, laundry and then packing that night.  He packs everything up, tells me that he has to work a really long shift on Monday because they had to finish something so I might not hear from him till at least 7pm.  BLAH.. I was pissed, I did however leave him a little mailbox full of goodies for Valentines Day which he found in the morning when he left. 

I noticed a few things Monday morning, for one he left really late and not at his usual time.  I figured huh that's weird but whatever.  Then when I went home for lunch I saw he didn't take his usual stuff for the week for his ice chest, again huh whatever.  He called me during the day and told me his co-worker might drive back home for the night but then called later to tell me he wasn't going to be able to.  No worries, so I made plans to see my girlfriends and have a girls night dinner.  He told me I had to go home because he needed some number from a paperwork in the office. 

So I got home, saw that the lights were on and thought "Dang it I left the lights on all day?!" then I noticed he was home!

Then he tells me that he never left to begin with and they were working in town this week.  Which of course I said but "you packed your bags and took your ice chest and everything?!" He said it's all in the garage hiding! :) He had a dinner ready for me, candles, jazz music, flowers and a balloon for me.

He's pretty proud of himself.  I guess this is his I'm the Man face! :)
