I successfully pulled off the whole mexican food meal I had mentioned on Friday. The favorite was the Crispy Southwestern Wontons! They were a total hit the boys all loved them as did the girls!
We gave each of our friends little pieces of our hearts too for all their help the past few weeks and for being such great friends! The hearts are stepping stones and we gave one to each of our girlfriends and then the boys got some new outfits! We are truly blessed with a new and wonderful friendship with each of them.
Saturday morning was spent sleeping in! Something we haven't had the chance to do after everything last weekend. We totally got the rest of our sleep caught up Saturday and Sunday morning. Then we did the usual stuff around the house being homeowners.
I have to say I have the sweetest fiance. Our neighbor across the street just recently got divorced and is a mom of 3 and hasn't had the time to keep up with her yard work so my honey and another neighbor are going to start taking care of it for her. She was so happy and I was so proud. Good Karma all around! As well as a pretty yard to look at.
Then we were off to celebrate my girlfriends birthday at Chevy's where I had lots of yummy margaritas and of course tequila.

She recently became a personal trainer and I couldn't be prouder!

Then we were off to the local bar to have some more cocktails.
All in all a fun weekend. Sunday was spent working outside again the in yard I planted another vegetable garden in addition to the one I already had.
I bought a few strawberry plants and one of them had a big ole strawberry almost ready for picking. I went out this morning to water and a dang bird STOLE it! Needless to say I'll be making one of these to keep them away tonight.
