the full proposal story..

Most of you should probably already know that I got engaged in April, but I never was able to say how exactly I got engaged and what the whole story was behind it.

Today I’m here to tell you all the FULL story.

See part 1 here, part 2 here and part 3 here..

Then after you see each of those…

I’m sure you can put 1, 2 and 3 together

and figure out that we got engaged on our Turf War!

More details behind the whole proposal goes like this…

The Beginning

We bought a house 3 years ago, but the house came with no backyard.

My man is one who likes to plan ahead so he told me that he didn’t want to start a family until we had all the right things in place.

Like a backyard for kids to grow up in, a place to raise our kids.

We all know that backyards are not cheap especially if all you have is dirt.

We had a tough 3 years of ups and downs with the economy and with his job.

So the backyard was never finished.

Then last fall we started working on it.

Getting concrete poured and then doing the sod and eventually building a shed.

But during all of this he told me,

“Once the backyard is done, we’ll get married”

okay really? I mean SERIOUSLY? How do you tell me this?

I was a patience patty… I waited and waited and waited…

Then of course we were picked for the Turf War…

THE YARD WOULD BE DONE!! April 23rd at 3:30pm..

Dah…..dah….dummmmmmm….

Ya RIGHT!

He would not propose on the SHOW!

Are you serious!!?!

Oh but he did! He did me proud..

Here’s all those cropped photos.. No longer cropped!!

I’ll save you a gazillion photos of it because I also have the video.. But click on the album below if you want to see them.. Again.. With out cropping them..

He was a man of his word and made an honest woman out of me!!
