{the secret}

I'm sure you've all heard of The Secret but have you actually read it?

 I read it earlier this past year as I was in the mood for soul searching and figuring out what made me happy and what it would take for me to realize it all. 

I finished The Secret awhile back and finally got around to making a vision board.  I actually got a journal from my best friend Wendy for my birthday and I made it a place where I cut out things, wrote thoughts and imagined and hoped for what I wanted in life. 

Let's face it I left a hard relationship almost a year ago to the day now and I wrote the most in there about what type of man I wanted in life. 

They were simple but honest things that made me happy. 

For a relationship I put some small things.. 

I wanted kisses.. Lots of kisses.  Kisses on my forehead, kisses on my cheek, kisses everywhere. 

I wanted hugs, affection and someone who cared for my emotional state of mind by showing me affection (which makes me feel loved... Enter The 5 Love Languages) 

I put in there that I hoped my future boyfriend/husband would open doors, walk on the side of the road to protect me from traffic, he'd pull my seat out and greet me when I got home with hugs and kisses. 

What I didn't realize is that this VISION board/journal really actually works. 

They give you tons of examples of all the things that have happened to people by putting those positive thoughts into the universe but it's completely true. 

What you put out there in thoughts and hopes really do come true. 

It's too early to tell but I think I found myself a winner..  Well who am I kidding.. 

I am most definitely sure I found myself a winner who so far fits all these things for me....
