Alright folks I'm going to attempt to make a comeback to at least journal and blog for myself so I can look back and see all the fun stuff I've been up to.
Last weekend Craig and I went on a little adventure to Napa. His friend lives in Napa and was out of town for the weekend so we happily accepted watching her little pup and her house to crash at for the night.
We left Sacramento at 10am and got to Napa right at 11. We headed straight over to Genova Delicatessen and OMG. WOW.. I got the Number 7 Eggplant Sando! Delish! We packed those in the cooler and headed over to our first stop.
Must stop here!
Our first stop was Domaine Chandon - We didn't taste here but heard the grounds were gorgeous so we took a little stroll around it was quite pretty. I will definitely return.
I started using my Mono Pole for the first time too.. Um amazing. Each and every single photo minus a few are taken with the pole. Buy one.. I insist!
This one.. With the pole.. I have to practice to get the pole out of the shot but it's amazing.
If your headed to Napa be sure to download the wine tasting apps they have. We tasted next over at Beringer for 2 for 1. So for only $15 bucks we both wine tasted compared to the originally would be price of $30!
We tasted in the Old House and then bought a glass for each of us to have while we walked their grounds which was gorgeous. It was such a nice day out!
He wasn't ready..
We sat out on their patio and enjoyed some tasty wine while admiring the views
I found Hydrangeas.. I love them.. ALOT..
After that we were quite hungry it was about 1pm so we headed over to the best picnic place there is.. V. Sattui where we also had some more wine tasting before eating.
So many cheeses!
This was Craigs sando from Genova.. YUM!
Had a pretty successful little picnic for us two
The pole.. But such a great shot.. Right?!
We left V. Sattui and headed over to the Castelo Di Amora just to see the castle not to taste..
No trip complete without a selfie!
Very cool little castle..
We did have a coupon for this place but we had a lot to drink by this point..
So we headed back to Napa and went to the house and NAPPED! Duh what else do you do when you drink all afternoon.. NAP!
So we took a nap then woke up and went into Downtown Napa and ate at a BBQ spot.
I had an open faced rueben sando. Yum!
We walked around the riverfront which has developed alot since the last time he'd been
I of course found a Squirrel go AGD!
We were home and in bed by 10:30 and that's quite a wonderful little day for us!
Sunday morning we got ready for the day and then went and met another couple out for brunch for my girlfriends birthday and then we headed back to Sacramento.
But first I stopped at Boot Barn and bought these bad boys because I ruined my last pair of cheapy boots. These bad boys are legit!
We packed up the car for tailgating and headed to meet everyone at Sleeptrain
Lindsay the birthday girl!
The girls
There is a hilarious video that accompanies this..
We aren't spring chickens anymore. I couldn't even finish the beer.
The concert was awesome - I fit 6 people in the pic with the pole. WINNING!
We snuck down and took some seats instead of sitting in the lawn. Ssssh.
As it turns out best friends think alike. I bought the EXACT same pair of boots that Rose already owned!
And of course we looked like twins without even planning it..
My BBQ man!
Such a fun little weekend. This upcoming weekend can't come fast enough now!
Cheers to Summer Time!

I knew if I dug through your blog I would find some Napa posts! I'm going out to Sacramento at the end of June to visit my best friend and we are going to do a girls' trip to Napa and to see my new crush Sam Hunt at Sleep Train (I guess now Toyota Amphitheatre) so this blog covered it all! Ha! Any must see suggestions about Napa?!? :)
