{Barcelona Day 3}

Look what I happened to just find in my drafts for blogger? But Day 3 of Barcelona which was oh lets see... June 28th, 2014 it was a Saturday in Spain.

Our last traveler finally got there that day and it was her birthday so we celebrated with some morning mimosas and cro-nuts.

After getting ready for day we decided that this day would be our sightseeing day!

Off we went - I found a pretty door while walking to the hop on hop off bus stop.
The group of gals I had the pleasure of traveling with
Kansas and I on our tour bus..
Saw lots of pretty buildings..
We had lunch outside of the La Sagrada Familia and then went to wait in line to see it.
It really was quite amazing. You don't see things designed like this in the US that's the beauty of Europe it's amazing seeing all the different types of architecture that is out there.
The inside of La Sagrada Familia
That is the ceiling
Gorgeous stained glass windows

After that we took the bus to see Gaudi's other creation this park - again more amazing structures that he designed.
It was SO freaking hot this day we were all a sweaty mess.  Luckily there were guys walking around selling cold water everywhere.

After a LONG ass ride back to the city center (we eventually hopped of and hoofed it because the bus route was a disaster.  If your going to ever visit Barcelona I say just take a taxi to the church don't do the bus tour.

We grabbed some more tapas and sangria of course before heading back to the apartment.

We were finally not jet lagged and we became accustomed to their ways.  Dinner - LATE.  So we hung out at the apartment for awhile and then we all got ready and were out the door at 11pm for DINNER!
Found a cute restaurant and sat outside.  It was amazing how packed it was at MIDNIGHT!
Delish paella and sangria.  When in Spain!

We walked around Placa Reial and found a bar had a few and then went to another area
Plaza Olympica (I'm purely going off memory and I'm not in the mood to Google to correct myself) We found a bunch of bars with tons of awesome jams.
This photo is hilarious.. It looks like I'm about to smack her.
We bought beers on the street and proceeded to stay out all night till at least 4 or 5am.

I'm finally blogging a TAD more.  So I'll be posting alot of really old random stuff because - well I want to :)

You should definitely stay tuned for the wedding that brought me here!
