After our three day stint in Barcelona we had to make the train trek over to Sitges a gorgeous little coastal town in Spain. It's the birthplace of Bacardi - the actual man who came up with Bacardi. There were Bacardi bats everywhere in the town.
Sitges is also one of the biggest LGBT cities in Spain so that was always nice seeing a place where so many people are welcoming to all types of love.

We had massive (well I) had a massive hangover and was a mess when we left. In my stumbles to the train I somehow lost my FitBit which I was super sad about because we are traveling and walking TONS so I was excited to see how much we walked each day. We were averaging at least 7 miles a day. Then of course I lost it. I tried to track my steps but it was gone. In the good news of things, FitBit was super helpful and sent me a new one (great customer service) because I had already complained to them that the band had fallen off numerous times within days of purchasing it.
Anyways onto the photos.
We went and had way overpriced (well they had way overpriced drinks) on La Rambla, I refrained because I was hungover and felt like death.
It was Ciara's last day with us and she was flying back to Ireland so we stuck around and waited till we couldn't anymore.
We bought some postcards to send home. They didn't leave space for the address so they took a photo of it and texted it to the person they were sending it to (virtually) the new type of postcard? Lol.
After that we had to make our way to the train station. It was quite confusing at first. The help there sent us to the wrong terminal to get the ticket and then we just kept getting confused but my girlfriend Nataly is to the rescue and got it all sorted out. Thank god she was there I wouldn't have made it without a Spanish speaking person.
These were the trains
Trying to figure out which train was ours. Who knew that this would be the start of many interesting train rides.
They passed out while we were on the train and I was in charge of making sure we got off at the right stop. I freaked out and thought we passed it and then was corrected and found out we were on the right path. It was the NEXT Sitges sign that we had to stop off at.
Arrived at Sitges! Still can't believe I fit everything in that backpack for 10 days.
We had another AirBnB in Sitges and the guy was super friendly and even picked us up from the train station and took us to the place we rented, which was their weekend home. They were from Barcelona but went to the beach for the weekends.
Me and Kansas and our giant back packs.
We got to our place and got the keys and then headed ou out to catch the Mexico World Cup game. Nataly basically sprinted down to the place she researched prior to our arrival for who would be playing the game.
I took these pics later in the night after we had dinner and then finally got home.
We were actually wandering on downtown - Nataly like I said sprinted her way to the sportsbar. But I actually ended up spotting my favorite to people - Wendy and Jon! They flew from SFO to Barcelona and then made their way to Sitges the day before us and I randomly found her on the beach taking photos.
Then we headed over to the sportsbar
The game was pretty intense
After the game was over we went and walked through town to the other side of that church here and went and had dinner together.
We had black paella! Omg delish.
We finished up the night walking back and running into the rest of the wedding folks and then went out separate ways. They were all staying at the villa and we were in town.
The next day was the rehearsal dinner/party. Stay tuned for that - this villa is AMAZING!
