Ruffle Butt Onesie
There's a reason why it won the 2009 tutorial of the year from U-Create, because it's absolutely to die for!
Here's the after.. I even had to break out the Cricut for another onesie that I'll show ya tomorrow! She's a big Ohio State fan so think about it..
I guess you can't really tell how messy it is because I'm not showing you the floor.
I had a Jelly Roll left over so I just used 2 strips from that, folded them over and pressed the seam. Then I surged on a 3 stitch rolled edge (for the first time might I add) each side.
Pinned down the ruffle on the onesie and sewed it down. That part was rather hard..
Repeat with a shorter length piece this was 15 inches. The other two strips were 20 inches. 2.5 times the width of the onesie.

After all three were attached on the onesie! Isn't it ADORABLE?!?! I think I might make a few in different colors! Especially when the baby is having tummy time they'll have a cute little bum in the air!
Agh! I love it!
Check out the tutorial ASAP and make one if your a crafty gal! They can also be made without a serger too which I might try that tonight too!

I think those of us in our mid twenties, well I'm 24 and there's girls younger than me (WTH?!) pregnant, are all dealing w tons of pregnancies which means lots of presents and lots of money. Wish I could sew and then I might attempt this because it is really cute!
