Fitness Fridays


Happy Friday Friends! It's looking rather gloomy over here in my area, where last week it was in the 70's now we have rain and 3 feet of snow expected in the Sierra's! Crazy right?! Seeing as how I might hit the slopes tomorrow or possibly next weekend I am getting my legs in gear!

Thanks for joining me last week for Fitness Friday! I hope you all enjoyed it! This week was legs, so instead of posting a whole bunch of photos like I did last week, this week I made all my exercises into a collage, so the post won't be as long as it was.



These are the first 5 exercises you do both 1 and 2 together then repeat.  Continue onto exercises 3, 4 and 5 then repeat.

  After that you'll hit exercises 6 and 7, repeat, then 8 and 9 and repeat. Then ta da! Instant butt lift! 

  Have you seen the commercial lately for the Brazilian Butt workout? That cracks me up.  Although secretly I wouldn't mind adding it to my collection.  But for now this workout seems to be working for my butt.  I can tell ya this much, my honey says my butt is looking nice these days! 

Most girls either fall into two categories, have a big ole booty or want a big ole booty! Lol or maybe you don't want a butt at all, but for me I like my buns to be nice and perky! In high school (not sure if it was a good thing) but I had a nickname that referenced the tush. 

My legs are definitely looking more trim and toned so this is definitely working.  Try it for yourself alot of these you can do at home too!

These workouts are easily found online too I'm using the photos from this workout routine on Exercise - About.com.   I modify it and don't do the arm portion, on leg days so I do 3 sets instead of 2 to really get the full leg workout.  Check it out they have lots of workout routines.  Print that bad boy and take it to the gym with you! You can't fail at that! 

  I take spin on Tuesdays and the teacher cracks me up, she literally tells us "Did you just fail? Are you a quitter?" if we didn't add resistance when doing the hill climb in class.  That really makes me work out harder.  Funny how some teachers don't want to be mean but this chick really does and it works because I had a junk food craving bad all week so I needed the extra butt kicking she delivered.

P.S. In no way shape or form am I a registered personal trainer, I felt I should throw that in, try these at your own risk.

Nothing keeps my legs trimmer than running. If I do too many weights and squats my legs build a ton of muscle and then all my pants are skin tight around my thighs!! Love the post, keep em coming!

I LOVE spinning and I find that running and doing some strength training helps to keep my body int he shape it was meant to be!

Lots of squats and lunges. Running also helped get my legs in shape.

LOVE it!! I need to get myself some free weights for my house so I don't have to go all the way to the gym just to do weights if it's nice out & I plan on running outside. I love your disclaimer at the end haha (:

PS. I'm SUPER scared to try spinning haha
