That was mean...I know, I'm sorry...
I probably got you all excited and pumped to think I got this stunner of a ring, which of course I'd love to get, but I didn't. I still have a ring-less finger on this wonderful April 1st /Fool's Day. But that lucky lady sure has a fabulous one. Have you ever been on ringenvy.com? When I was ring shopping as we all like to do right? (I'm not alone on this right) I stumbled upon the site ringenvy.com!
Aside from hoping I get a beautiful ring like that one day.
How has your April Fool's Day gone so far?
Normal Thursday? Or have you had some crazy joke's played on you? I sure have, so if you have been so fortunate to not be blessed with a crazy family who loves to pull my leg on countless occasions here's some of my April Fool's days to keep you entertained.
Let's recap my life in the day of April 1st's:
One year my uncle gave me lotto tickets that I scratched off to realize I just won a MILLION dollars. Wrong.. My tickets were WAY more convincing than these ones so we really thought we won, until you read the back and it was all BS.
First year I start dating my boyfriend calls me (Starts talking in a pain stricken voice) "Honey, I'm at the hospital I was mowing the lawn and I had to reach under to get something out and I cut my finger off!" Um ya I started freaking out, he started laughing. More like your going to need a more than a band aid when I get home! Come to think of it I don't think it was April fools but he always plays jokes on me.
Ready for it? Here's the BEST one so far.
It's about 7am I'm 16 years old, I'm hating high school as always, but still enjoying it for the most part. Just got my license, I get woken up by my MOM and Auntie who tell me,
Jenny! We sold our 1984 325 Series BMW
We bought a new one and guess what?
It's for you!
Oh ya.. Did I mention that they actually had the car there?? Ya a 2000 325 BMW in my front yard just waiting for me to take it for a spin.
So I take it for a spin we get home and my Auntie starts laughing and telling my Mom she has to tell me, tell me? Tell me what? I just got a new BMW!
Why is she laughing you might ask?
My MOM thought it would be funny to take her bosses new BMW and pull a EVIL, MEAN and CRUEL joke on me for April Fool's Day. Yup it was her bosses car, our good old 1984 BMW was still in the garage and it still is there today.
Side Note: I have lunch with my mom every Thursday, you can bet your butt I'm going to pull a fast one on her and tell her I'm preggo or something. At least I'm going to remind her about the BMW day. I'll never let her live that down. I started crying after she told me. Way to start a day right? Geeze MOM!

wow, I got totally excited, and that ring is to die for.! I actually told my brother (who is also my best friend, were very close) that I took a pregnancy test and I was prego. My mom was right by my side laughing away. It was a good one for sure.
Ok, You got me, good! I about died when I saw that ring and thought, wow she is so lucky!! Until I scrolled down and you played a mean joke :-( lol
That joke about the car is TOO funny but so mean of your mom. I hope you got her back good today!!

DANG, you got me!!!! What an evil prank your mom pulled on you. I am not a good liar so people can usually tell I am not telling the truth when I try to pull stuff like this. I am going to try to get my husband today though!
I just got super excited :( yikes you have had some serious April Fools Days through the years!! I hatee this day, so I'm pretty sure the people close to me fear for their lives too much to play a tricky joke!

i was totally excited when i saw you were engaged on my blog roll. bummer. the car thing is hilarious! when i was 9 and my mom was pregnant with my brother, she woke me up at 5 AM and told me she was in labor! i got out of bed and started getting dressed when she told me it was an April Fool's joke.
oh my god Jenn you totally got me! im all sitting here being jealous of your ring, getting ready to comment and say congrats, then i scroll down and read its a joke! soo good one haha! and hilarious about the BMW i bet you were so bummed! but your Mom pulled a good one on ya lol!
