Last Year
I hit my lowest weight 125 or 127 and remember it in this date night.. I can see it in my face the most.. I remember putting my jeans this night that I hadn't worn in about 3 years and thinking THIS is WONDERFUL! This is my happy weight.
Well since then I gained it all back plus some.. Now of course I'm trying to lose it again. Especially before our big day (no not our wedding day) sorry to keep you all in suspense, more on that later.
This Year
Yes I'm sure some of you are thinking "This girl is crazy she looks fine"..
I'm sure that's exactly what your thinking... sure I'm photogenic but I'm not happy at this weight, I post the cute photos not the ones were I look big... I wore this shirt that night because it was flowy and didn't grab onto my tummy.
Anyways this is just for me to show myself what I was at and what I can attain again, using healthy eating and exercise I'll be happy once more. I made a goal for myself it's a short term goal because I have a big day I want to be skinny for..
This week's stats:
Weight: 141 lbs.. I'm 5'2 so as the Wii Fit told me that's overweight.. I'm happiest at 125-7 ish that's the lowest I've been in the past 6 years.
Monday: Morning: Ran 2 Miles, Night: Shred
Tuesday: Morning: Ran 2 Miles, Night: Shred
Wednesday: Morning: Ran 1 Mile, 10 mins on eliptical, 10 mins on stairmaster, Night: Dance Party Extreme at 24 Hour Fitness
Thursday: Morning: Treadmill warm up 10 mins, did this boot camp workout
Friday: Woke up and felt the pain from the past 4 days. Hopefully going home to do the Shred
Saturday: Morning: Dance Party Extreme and TKB possibly.
Not to bad for starting back up. My buns hurt big time as do my abs. I can't wait to be skinny again! I was 2lbs lighter today but I'm sure that's a fluke..
I'm feeling better so that's the best thing I forget how good it feels to work out after taking about a two month break. I've been telling myself I took one month off but seriously it's been 2 months or more way more. I finally was fed up with it and had to wake up and stop hitting snooze.
I got my hair cut and colored last week so that is an instant boost in self confidence which is good news, started exercising and threw out all junk food. I made some cute hair accessories for myself which also makes me smile.

These are my favorite shirts too one shoulder got them both at Ross for $7 each..
I might have been shopping alittle bit too. I had to buy two pairs of jeans one in size 9 and one in size 7, from Lee at Ross super cute for getting dirty around the house doing yardwork. Hoping that I can return the 9 and possibly the 7 before I need them because I'll loose 10 lbs.
I'm being totally honest today and it feels great it's nice to put it out there and say exactly how I've been feeling. So this is me day 5 of my 41 day goal to loose 10 lbs and hopefully more.

you're beautiful though! I had issues in college..let's just say the Freshman 25. Ahem.
Anywho, I got on track and I agree..it's a great feeling! My highest was 135 and I'm back to my original, highschool-esque weight, 115. But really, the thing that worked the most was just MOTIVATION! and you definitely seem to have motivation!
I cant tell if thats an iphone in your pic, but if it is (or if you have an itouch) there;s an app called MyFitnessPal that tracks all your calorie intake, workouts, etc. ITS AMAZING!
This is legit a book comment haha sorry! Oh but also, if you've never tried ZUMBA, I highly recommend. Depending on the class, you can burn up to 900 cals in an hour and its SO FUN!

I'm gonna go ahead and be the one that says you're crazy! But if it makes you feel good then that's the important part! I love that hair bow... oh and my hair has a stupid wave/flip only on one side too!
Oh how I love you Jenn! :) this was great to read. I really hope you have success and meet your goals! Do you recommend the Shred? Like it's worth buying? Do you need a big space in your home to work out to it? I am so confined in our condo...Our couch and coffee table take up all of our living room! :(

I'm so glad you are being honest about your weight! It actually gives me some confidence because I've always thought you have a GREAT body and I really don't weight that much more than you (and I'm a little taller), so if you look good, it makes me feel like I look good too. I'm with you on the weight loss, I'm going to the Bahamas this summer so I need to lose about 10 more pounds too.
I'll totally join in on this next week. I need to be held accountable. Not too much weight loss just more of toning up. I eat like a pothead (& I don't even smoke).

I started my weight loss journey back in January to lose 20 lbs and have lost 13.6 lbs so far and I have 6.4 to go! I started at 152.8 and want to get down to 132.8 (but probably 125-127 by the end of the summer)

I love what you are doing here. And please tell me more about this Dance Party Extreme at 24. I have never heard of it and it sounds like it's right up my alley.
I am 5'6" and am usually between 150-155. I have been able to get down to about 143 (two years ago), but late last year I went to the doc and was at 160!!!! I actually noticed some mood issues as well and ended up getting off of birth control and lost about 5 lbs immediately. Since the beginning of the year I have been going full speed with eating clean and working out and I am starting to see a huge difference. I pay more attention to my body fat % than the scale though, since I am pretty muscular and the scale varies on any given day based on too many factors.

you can totally do it!!! i just lost 56 pounds and i know how you feel not liking the way you look, even though you are so pretty! its all about feeling good! anywho when you dont fit in those 7s ill buy them from ya! lolol. im a 7/8 now!

You definitely look gorgeous in both photos! But keeping a log of your work outs definitely helps. If you're looking to mix up the gym routine, look into investing in the "insanity" dvd collection. It really is insane.. the best workout, ever!

I'm with ya on this! I am 5'8" and weight 159...my happy weight is around 135, so I have a ways to go! I can tell it the most in my face and the fact that I had to buy all new jeans :( I am SO upset with myself, but it's nobody's fault but mine! I am back to working out and training for a half marathon in October!

I am 5'2 too! I weighed about 135/140...so gross to think back at that! I lost 25-30lbs! Some people say I am too skinny now but I am healthy and loving my weight!!! I just did straight cardio...practically every day. I also did spin classes or rode my road bike...those are major workouts! So...I believe and know you can do it!!! :)
