{5 on Friday!}

Happy Three Day Weekend! Because seriously that's the last 3 day weekend we will have for awhile until thanksgiving.  Just stop and be sad over that.. I am.

But onto more exciting things!

1. LABOR DAY WEEKEND! 

My best friend Wendy and I are headed up to South Lake Tahoe for the weekend.  Just us two.  Oh the trouble we can get into.  We may or may not be pretending it's a bachelorette party and thus scoring more free drinks or really who knows what we will get into.  Which is why this photo of us is me to a T looking all sneaky!

We are going out to dinner tonight at Shabu! Which is japanese hot pot! So yummy I can't wait! 

Then tomorrow we are waking up early to get to Tahoe by 9am to hike down to Emerald Bay and rent our two person kayak and go kayaking to the tea house in the middle of the bay!

 

We also may or may not be doing this in full on Indian Costumes just for shits and giggles..

2. Bachelorette Weekend!

We are headed to Disneyland next Thursday to officially celebrate Wendy's last fling before the ring!

I have been up every day this week till 1am crafting. I can't wait to show you all the finished goodies!

Oh pinterest if you didn't exsist I wouldn't have to do so much! But now there are too many ideas and not enough time!

3. My 29th Birthday 

Last year in the 20's is coming my way.  It's been a nice ride so YOLO and so we are throwing a party at the pool party palace.. AKA my house in September and my invites just went out by my bestie Wendy and they crack me up.  Here's what it says:

"Girls just want to have FUN, especially in the SUN! You only LIVE once, so throw on your swimsuits and get ready to sip on bubbles (champagne) while getting your tan on!

Consider yourself lucky... you'll be subjected to Mariah Carey songs, yummy treats, and perhaps a pinata! In honor of our favorite crafty gal who has an unforgettable laugh! She is going to be SUPER FINE and 29 for the first time and Jenn wants to celebrate with YOU! So party people I can't wait to see and meet YOU beauties for Jenn's Birthday!"

SUBJECTED? Subjected to Mariah? My response.. Yes I'll be there but you'll be GRACED with the presence of Miss MC! :) If you didn't know I'm obsessed with Mariah Carey. Love the girl.

4. Wedding Festivities

This post should just be titled the Jen & Wen post.  Because my life is surrounded by it and I couldn't be happier!  This was from her Mad Hatter Tea Party and it was a blast. 

 5.Summer is coming to a close! 

My birthday really is the end of summer so we have about a month left of extreme heat.  Last weekend we went and saw Brad Paisley and it was SUCH a fun concert.  I think it was the 4th time I've seen him not purposely but just good ticket prices.  These were free so couldn't pass it up! 

It's a Parking Lot Party!
