Day 3 of Chicago was another adventure day. The rest of my family was finally all in Chicago so we headed back to Millennium Park to take more pictures with the bean then I thought we should go take a pic in front of Wrigley Field to at least say we went there. Sadly they were playing the SF Giants in San Francisco. :( That would have been so awesome to see them play at Wrigley Field!
The fountain actually shows a face and then squirts water from their mouth. Weird yes.. But interesting.
Holding the bean? Okay..
On the underside of the bean holding it up again. .
Oh so interesting.. Lol.. It was really cool but they should windex that thing nightly.
The symphony was practicing again in the park so we listened for a few before waiting for the rest of the gang to arrive.
There they are the rest of the Chinese fam bam. We jumped on the subway and went to Wrigley Field.
It was fun taking the subway there took about 30 mins and tada!
We can say we were "there"
Too bad it started pouring rain.. Well a light sprinkle. My adorable hair was flattened..
There was a giant Mac n Cheese noodle which I had to have a picture with. By far the BEST hangover food ever. I will always request Mac N Cheese - Sponge Bob or a character noodle every time all the time.
My uncle got me this snazzy rain jacket. Aka a trash bag. Louie was getting wet.
We then found the Captain.. My favorite past time cocktail. Then we headed on back. I was told to stop by Portillo's Hot Dogs and get some grub.
I got the italian beef sando but it wasn't up to what I was hoping for. Their hot dog was quite tasty. Probably why they are named Portillo's Hot Dogs. Oh well..
After that we went shopping for a little bit then we headed back to the Millennium Park to hear the symphony actually perform.
It was the cutest date night I've ever seen. People brought chairs on the lawn with little mini pop up tables with bottles of wine and take out or cheese and cracker spread. It was so adorable and to listen to the symphony was fabulous. Such amazing music.
Shortly after I headed off to meet my girlfriend Sandy to have a night out on the town.
She thankfully wears the same size as me in everything. I was head to toe in her attire. Dress, necklace, purse and shoes! Curled my hair, applied some make up and headed out!
We ended up at a wine bar below her apartment and then headed out to a bunch of other places. Names not sure. We went to a swanky bar, a sports bar, a club, a restaurant and a late night dinner spot before finally going to sleep at like 4:30am.
Thankfully the next day I had my clothes I wore from the day before so I totally got changed and walked around Chicago all day until it was time for me to head to the hotel to get ready for the wedding.
Recap on my "non-walk of shame" day tomorrow! It wasn't a walk of shame because there was no hooking up of course. I simply didn't go back to the hotel until like 2pm that Saturday after staying out all night so I was in the same outfit from the day before! LOL..
