Finally the wedding day had arrived! We stayed at our apartment and then took a taxi up that night with all of our stuff since we were leaving the next day from the villa.
This was the patio view from our apartment
We packed up all our stuff and went into town to catch a late lunch since we of course slept the whole day away
Backpackers!
The beautiful coastline of Sitges
Kansas wasn't coming to the wedding so she just hung around and tanned and met up with us the next day so we could make our way to Portugal.
We ate at La Oca (always take pics of your menus so you can remember where you ate!)
I had the spaghetti - I was craving something that wasn't Spanish!
We made our way up the hill and popped in to see the beautiful bride!
The venue was turned into the most gorgeous wedding site!
The colors are so vibrant! It was GORGEOUS
There were SO many rooms to this house I was out exploring it and the photographer snapped a pic of me from a balcony.
After Mo was ready she had us up in her room to have a cheers with the girls
Toasting to the bride!
Took some pics of course out on their private balcony/terrace
The three of us lived together in college - good times
We got Mo into her dress - I took the reigns on that one, then each girl kinda helped putting something on her, jewelry, shoes etc.
She's ready to go!
More venue shots while we were waiting for everything to start
There were SO many tasty appetizers OH we ate SO MUCH!
Waiting for the bride to make her entrance
The adorable flower girls
Mo and her dad
After that they asked for no photos I snuck those two.
We were greated with champs and lots of tasty appetizers after the ceremony
There are too many favorite things to mention but here is the oyster guy! Who shucked oysters on site and gave you toppings! OMG so good!
Mo and Justin took their bridal photos while we waited our turn for the girls pics
The groomsmen
There was a live street band so we of course had lots of dancing
Me and the oyster man!
The newlyweds!
OMG - PAELLA!
Then she asked all of her best girlfriends to wear a jewel toned color dress - here was the outcome
Gorgeous pics!
This was a task - that ledge is SUPER small we literally all could have been on america's funniest videos if we went in..
More tasty food options - the salmon plates
Soon enough it was time to take our seats and start the feast!
It was so nice out the weather was great - we literally ate by minimal candle light it was gorgeous.
Then there were toasts and cake cutting, then it was time to dance!
Their first dance was to Could You Be Loved by Bob Marley - LOVED IT.
So - Mo is not Jewish and neither is Justin but she has always wanted to do the Hora at her wedding. Ask and you shall receive. We laughed our asses off but she loved it.
In Buenos Aires where she lived before - they put on masks during weddings so we did the same.
She changed her dress for the dancing - who knew that Mo would do that. Loved it!
The night ended with drunken treats. OMG - can you see my face. I was in love - they served fried eggs with bacon on toast. WOW - Yea I had about 4 of those rounds of eggs and bacon at like 3am.
The next morning we had to get up and pack and get ready for Portugal.
We crashed in this room on that couch..
You walk out of that room and enter into this little sitting area - then to the right it goes to another bedroom. There are literally rooms in EVERY direction.
The whole place had been cleaned up and ready for the day after BBQ and swimming
They hosted everyone to come over and enjoy a day poolside at the place since prior for the week it was just all friends who were there.
The fixings by the chef - Tasty!
Lounging out before we had to head to the train
Yummy eats!
Lots of love to my bride!
We then finally had to say good bye and head back to Barcelona for the airport to get to Portugal.
We met back up with Kansas at the train station in Sitges and then hopped on to get to Barcelona airport.
Loading the plane in Barcelona and onto another country!
I personally love getting on the tarmack and loading instead of through a breeze way.
Landed after a quick hour flight to Portugal!
Always fun to see the new languages on the signs in Portuguese!
Another day - another train station to figure out.
We dropped off all our stuff at the apartment and then headed out for dinner and drinks!
There are street trolleys in Lisbon - the guy we rented the apartment from said "You go on train, you get robbed" so needless to say we didn't ride the trains.
The streets of Lisbon are GORGEOUS - I've used that word alot but they were beautiful. All mosaic tile designs through the streets. It was amazing.
Our new humble abode for the next three days
My bed with Nat
Then Kansas got the big room
We got cleaned up and went to grab some food
Then there are bars in the streets and little cafes so we popped a squat and had more booze at another place
Eating on the steps in Lisbon!
