a year in review

2011 was a WONDERFUL year! Because of many, many things.  Here's a photo story of it all.

Brace yourself this is photo overload!

(Unfortunately) We didn't start the year off with a high note, we sadly lost a great man in our lives, my fiances (then boyfriend) Grandpa passed away suddenly in January

 

We were able to celebrate his passing with good friends and family



Took professional photos with my best friends 



Came home that night to find my boyfriend bought us a Wii

February we started hanging out with an AMAZING new set of friends they are truly the best group of friends we've had so far such a giving, friendly, god loving and fun natured good we couldn't be more blessed

My boyfriend was working out of town during Valentines day and tricked me to thinking he really was out of town when he totally wasn't
 

 I joined in on the feather craze

I started playing Bunko with a fun group of gals! I had rookie luck the first game



We celebrated my Uncle Ronnie's 50th birthday!


Had lots of fun games nights

 Went to the Jason Aldean concert with my girlfriend

We started working on our backyard but then shortly after

We were picked to be part of the Turf War family this night we found out the great news

Then April came soon enough and we won our Turf War
 


Immediately after the Turf War was wrapping up my boyfriend proposed to me!

The baseball season started and we headed over to the Rivercats games

I attended my first bridal show! Excited for more in 2012

Went to a Springapalooza concert with friends

Lots more bunko nights as I became a regular instead of a sub

Had lots of LOL Designs shows

Drake dog got a pool and he was one happy camper

Lots of bike rides to the bars


June came and we celebrated my aka one day sister in law's birthday on Clearlake


Spent memorial day on the lake with friends


More Rivercats game we celebrated my mother in laws birthday there


Went wine tasting for Lisa's birthday

Went to the California State Fair




Had our Turf War viewing party in the yard


Went to Aaron Lewis concert in Jackson Rancheria

Went to Sade concert the following week as an early birthday present




Celebrated our 5th Anniversary by camping in Dillon's Beach


Went to Monterey to watch these two get married

Went to Monterey Bay Aquarium for the first time in years


Surprised my best friend in SF for her birthday party

Started a new job at another news station, this is my cubicle buddy

 

Went camping in Nevada City for Labor Day

While on my way to Nevada City I bought my first Canon SLR T2i

Saw my friends daughter get crowned homecoming queen

Didn't get to see my fiance on his birthday but we then celebrated my 27th birthday,
 
Reused our old costumes for this years halloween party

 We grew our own pumpkins this year

Celebrated Val's birthday in November

 

This December I became a brunette!

The day before Christmas I had my wisdom teeth pulled

Then since December has started we haven't taken many photos because....

I'm proud to say my fiance started the fire academy and is on his way to become a fire fighter!

We are off to celebrate this one heck of a year with good friends tonight! All ticket proceeds go to a battered women's shelter.
